Application of Russian Bruting Wheels:
The cut diamond is sent to the bruting department for bruting and profiling. At this step, diamond can be shaped into circular, heart-shaped, elliptical, and etc according to design requirements.
Usually, PCD(polycrystalline diamond) or vitrified bond diamond wheel is used for polishing natural diamond. Because the hardness of natural diamond varies in different directions, it should grasp the basic forms of diamond including triahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and crystal features to rely on grinding and polishing experience. The method is to install the vitrified bond diamond bruting wheel on the high-speed rotating grinding machine and polish the natural diamond girdle with external cylindrical grinding mode.
How to choose the grain size of vitrified bond diamond bruting wheels
Grain size: MD20, MD40, MD60, MD80
MD20: fine polishing, perfect shining performance and long life for small diamond( 10 points-1 carat)
MD40, MD60: rough polishing, high efficiency polishing and sharp cutting for big diamond( 1 carat, 1.2 carat, 1.3 carat, etc)
MD80: rough polishing, high efficiency and sharp cutting for bigger diamond.(2 carat. 3 carat, and etc.)
