Double disc grinding wheel is specifically designed for double-sided grinding machine. Which is used for flat grinding and polishing on various sheet metal and non-metallic materials.

Working Principle of Double-Sided Grinding :
The basic working principle of the double-sided grinder is to clamp the workpiece between two rotating double-sided grinding discs, which are covered with grinding wheels containing grinding particles (diamond or CBN).
These two grinding discs can rotate individually and the distance and angle between the grinding discs can be adjusted to control the machining process of the workpiece. The workpiece is usually clamped onto the fixture to ensure the stable position during the grinding process.

When double-sided grinding disc grinding, choose the appropriated superhard abrasive based on whether the grinding object contains iron group elements. According to the grinding efficiency and required surface roughness, determine whether to choose vitrified bond or resin bond, as well as the grain size of the superabrasive double-sided grinding disc.
