The honing mandrel includes escrape, mandrel, guide shoe, wear-resistant coating, which can firmly fix the stone( diamond honing stone or CBN honing stone) to complete the honing technology.

Standard Replacement of Sunnen Honing Mandrel :

Sunnen standard mandrel is mainly used for blind holes, keyhole holes, serial holes, with the diameter range of 2.5-32mm.

S series, steel mandrel with soft guide rail, widely application and can be used to hone most materials.

H-type: steel mandrel with hardened guide shoes, suitable for honing tungsten carbide and various engineering ceramics.

B-type=bronze mandrel, used for very fine surface treatment and honing of rare metals.

Carbide Inserted Shoe Mandrel:

Diameter range:5.5-32mm

The addition of a carbide wear-resistant layer gives it a longer service life than steel mandrel.

Diamond Insert Mandrel :

It is suitable for honing soft materials with the hardness of HRC20-30.

The features are high cutting efficiency with high-quality diamond & CBN honing stones, no scratches on the workpiece, and good surface quality after honing.

Diamond Plated Honing mandrel:

The electroplated diamond mandrel aims to provide wear-resistant guide shoe to extent the life of mandrel during the honing process. It has high stock rate when honing carbide, chromium, and other difficult to grind material.

The diameter of the mandrel is from 2.50mm.

Diamond grain size: 100/120, 200/230, 270/325, 325/400, 600
