About Optical Glass:
Optical glass is made of melting various pure natural quartz, which can change the direction of light propagation and relative spectral distribution. Mohs hardness of optical glass: The Mohs hardness of most optical glass is usually between 5 and 6. The hardness of optical glass such as BK7 and F2 is usually 5.5-6, and is higher than that of ordinary glass.

They are usually used in large-scale production or applications with high surface requirements for optical glass. Metal bond diamond cutting wheels have excellent wear resistance and require frequent dressing with dressing board.
